The Insulation Tax Credit
The Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit is a federal tax credit equaling 30% of the total cost for a variety of energy efficiency home upgrades, including qualifying insulation and air sealing expenses. There is an annual maximum credit of $1,200 for the category of upgrades that includes insulation.

- $150 credit for energy audits

Virginia Energy Rebate Programs
Virginia Energy Sense has put together a list of all state programs and utility companies that participate in rebates and incentives. These tax credits, rebates and other incentives are designed to help offset the cost of home performance upgrades. The list also includes rebates for new construction of ENERGY STAR manufactured homes.
Dominion Energy
The Fifth Fuel is a pre-qualified contractor with Dominion Energy. Virginia households who are Dominion customers can qualify for incentives or no-cost energy efficient upgrades for qualified customers.
